Rescuers in Nepal are searching for a renowned U.S Sky climber. A famed U.S extreme skier’s body was recovered wednesday and it transported to Nepal’s capital.
Nelson and her partner, Jim Morrison had scaled the 26,781ft. peak of Manaslu on Monday morning.
Morrison skied first and after a few turns Hilaree followed, and started a small avalanche. She was swept off her feet and carried down a narrow snow slope down the south side of the mountain over 5000 feet.
Rescuers failing to find her on Monday and Tuesday due to bad weather, they searching by helicopter located nelson’s body on Wednesday.
Nelson body was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Kathmandu where doctor’s planned to perform an autopsy.
